The Board of Aldermen adopted a budget for fiscal year 2010/2011 with no ad valorem tax- you will pay no Hemby Bridge tax on your residence, cars and trucks, boats, etc. 

Citizens are welcome to attend Board meetings which are held monthly on the third Thursday of the month at 7 pm at Town Hall, 5811 Fairview-Indian Trail Road.   

Our new Community Center is now accepting reservations.  Please call Kim Mullis at 704-882-2352 and leave a message, and she will call you back to give you all the details.  Rental rates for a half day are $60 for residents and $100 for non-residents.  The facility will accomodate approximately 100 people.  The address of the Community Center is 7604 Secrest Short Cut Road, Indian Trail, NC  28079.

Town of Hemby Bridge property tax is now being collected by Union County, effective with 2008 tax.  Please call us for any delinquent taxes on property from 1998-2007.  704-882-3940.

The Town of Hemby Bridge has been accepted into the National Flood Insurance Program as of November 9, 2009.
